What are Drop-Shippers?
E-commerce describes the practice of purchasing goods for resale, Drop-Shippers however resell goods without the need of purchasing inventory. Instead, products are dispatched from the original supplier, but marketed through the Drop-Shippers Company at an increased price.
Why are Drop Shippers Bad?
Drop-Shippers aren't inherently bad, connecting customers to the products they want is an essential practice. However, these drop-shippers often do so at highly inflated prices with misleading or false marketing, intending to blind the consumer to nature of their product, it's origin and their stake.
Whilst many are aware of the predatory nature of Drop-Shipping, it is often those least adept at technology and most susceptible to advertising who fall victim to Drop-Shippers.
